A co-ed emergency shelter that provides accommodation for men, women and children who are homeless.
The Emerald Centre operates 7 days a week, 365 days per year and provides 42 shelter beds.
During a typical stay, clients are provided with a comfy bed, nutritious meals and a safe environment; in addition, they also have access to support workers that work closely with them to create connections to both community resources and the community as a whole.
The case management team, along with other multidisciplinary teams, collaborates with individuals to develop personalized plans that provide continuous support tailored to their needs. Compassionate staff members work closely with external service providers to support clients in all areas of life. Case managers ensure that each individual has access to the necessary supports and services.
