Eating Disorder Program - Adults - North Island

Provided by Island Health

Voluntary outpatient program for the treatment of eating disorders.
This program serves residents of Comox Valley, Strathcona and North Island, with a referral required from a primary care provider.

Services and Treatment Provided:
  • Individual counselling and nutrition support
  • Group therapy
  • Liaison and referral to specialized eating disorders inpatient and residential treatment programs
  • Collaboration with primary care providers
Telehealth/Phone consultations are offered for clients in rural and remote areas.

Referrals are accepted from General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners. All other health care professionals wishing to refer, please liaise with a primary care practitioner on referral completion. If this is not feasible, please contact the Eating Disorders Program at the phone number below.
